Welcome to the Broome Volunteer Resource Service
The Broome Volunteer Resource Service (BVRS) provides a volunteer referral service for not-for-profit organisations within the Broome community. We link potential volunteers with agencies who’s services and programs fall within the interest area of the volunteer. Volunteer registration is required of the individual and this includes an interview with a BVRS staff member – who will help find the best volunteering options for your enjoyment and experience.
There are many types of volunteering positions available to meet you needs, skills and availability! Feel free to have a look at the positions we have available to find one that suits you. The BVRS lists volunteer positions on both Volunteering WA’s VIKTOR database and also through GoVolunteer. The Broome Volunteer Resource Service is open for enquiries weekdays between 8.30am and 4.30pm. Please have a look at the Broome CIRCLE Timetable to see when a volunteer referral officer is available – no appointment necessary.
Come in at your leisure! Volunteer positions can be found in areas such as aged care, conservation, youth work, community services and cultural heritage.
