Broome Community Information, Resource Centre and Learning Exchange (CIRCLE) is a Not-for-Profit family support and community development service. We operate out of Broome Community House on the corner of Frederick and Weld Streets. We deliver a range of diverse programs and services including a crèche, children and adult’s leisure/well being/educational activities, community events/activities, volunteer recruitment/placement/support, financial literacy education, financial counselling and emergency relief. In addition we facilitate access to Broome Community House, which hosts a broad spectrum of community-run programs, groups, meetings and classes.

Management Committee Volunteer
We are always looking for enthusiastic Volunteers to join our dedicated Management Committee.

Responsibilities: You will need to be available to attend meetings on the third Wednesday of every month between 9am and 12pm. You may also be asked to join a Sub-Committee which meets at a different time and day. In addition you will be called on to assist with events and fundraising from time to time.
Requirements: A current Police Check and Working with Children Card (or ability to apply) are essential (cost: $10.50 for Volunteers). Management Committee and/or Not-for-Profit experience is desirable.
School Aged Program Volunteers
Here at Broome CIRCLE Inc we run several programs for School-aged children. We are always looking for Volunteers to support the Facilitators of these fantastic programs. Come and have some fun whilst ‘doing your bit’ in the community!

Responsibilities: Supporting the Facilitator to deliver the program setting up and cleaning down the room. You will need to be available for a minimum of 3hrs a week when the relevant program is operating.

We are looking for enthusiastic and patient Volunteers to join our vibrant Crèche Service.
Service Details: The Crèche provides a stimulating and exciting environment for children aged 2 months – 5 years of age. The service operates between 8.30am – 12.00noon in order to support parents attending Broome CIRCLE’s other programs. We are also very interested in opening a Grandparents Crèche in the afternoons, so we would love to hear from any of you Seniors who miss your Grand Kiddies!
Responsibilities: You will support the Crèche Coordinator and her team to deliver quality care and educational activities. You will need to be available for a minimum of 3hrs, one day per week.
