Hardship Utility Grants (HUGS) These grants are to assist individuals having difficulty in paying their electricity, water of gas bills and who are at risk of having their supply restricted or disconnected. The total allowable grant is accessible once per year and the bill must be in the name of the person applying. To be able to access this grant, a service user must be assessed by a financial counsellor.

WA No Interest Loan Scheme (WANILS)
The WA NO Interest Loan Scheme (WA NILS) provides individuals & families on Centrelink benefits an opportunity to apply for an interest free (0%) loan.
WA NILS is a community based program that enables people living on low incomes access to safe, fair and affordable credit for the purchase of essential products and services.
For support in applying for a WANILS loan through our Financial Management Program, you will need to join us for an info session about the WA NILS process and how to apply.
These sessions are held every Thursday at 1.00pm at Broome CIRCLE. No bookings required.
